That’s Entertainment Performing Arts Competition brings 19 years of experience, fun and entertainment to the competition arena. We always believed in the idea of teaching and providing positive lessons and experiences to our performers. We stress the importance of good sportsmanship and for everyone to cheer on his or her competitors. The energy at our competition events is always uplifting and is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
What started out as just a dance competition quickly evolved into much more. We wanted to provide a one-of-a-kind experience where ALL performers have a stage to compete against the best of the best. We have now grown to offer various categories including, dance, acting, acro, instrumental, modeling & vocal genres. Our goal is to showcase talent across the board. Not just an ordinary dance competition.
As of 2018, That’s Entertainment has partnered with a nationwide not-for-profit called Spark Evolution. This organizations mission is to bring today’s social issues to the forefront and to encourage the continuous awareness and education of these issues. Some of the issues addressed are anti-bullying, anti-violence, racial unity, LGBTQ rights, special needs & disabilities to name a few.
With the combination of That’s Entertainment and it’s new partnership with Spark Evolution, both spectators and performers are in for a treat! Throughout the event we play trivia games and give out free prizes. Your studio also has the chance to get interviewed and have “camera time”. This is an opportunity for your studio competitors to learn camera etiquette and to be our next social media stars!
Additionally, our competitors have the chance to win many awards during our Awards Ceremony. All competitors are judged through live video critiques. We are one of the few competitions that do both ordinal and adjudicated scoring. We also have special awards including, Judges Specials, Titleist’s, TE Elite Team, Entertainer of the Year Award, Top 5 / Top 10, Overall High Score, etc.
