In 2000 That’s Entertainment hosted it first ever competition at the Grand Hotel in Cape May, New Jersey & still going strong. Like our mascot the butterfly we have evolved from what began as just a dance competition has grown to encompass acting, acro, instrumental modeling & vocal genres. Our goal and commitment to the performing arts is more than just competition.
In 2018 TE collaborated with Spark Evolution a non profit organization bringing awareness of the social issues that we face today. Focused topics are [Anti-Bullying- Anti-Violence, Racial Unity, LGBTQ, Special Needs & Disabilities.
As you step into the Theater you instantly feel the high energy of the competitors ready take the stage. You will be inspired by each presentation including acting, acro, dance, instrumental, modeling & vocal. You can come & enjoy a competition free of admission fees. Join the fun & excitement at each Awards Ceremony where judges present special awards. There are Opportunities for TE Titlists, and TE Elite Dancers are chosen for the Elite Dance Team. Elite members have the opportunity to be chosen as back up dancers at live performances. All Studio Owners, Music School Professional, Performing Arts Directors, School Sanctioned Dance Teams,Vocal & Drama Club Representatives have the opportunity your competitors shine & expand their horizon with on camera digital etiquette of a TE Competition. Each studio has the opportunity to be interviewed and speak on camera. You never know you may see your competitors featured on Youtube or Facebook.
A TE Nationals is an event to remember. Each day is jammed packed from dawn to dusk including competition, free workshops, live critiques. We host a light themed party & more. The Top Senior Vocalist of the event will be awarded a Free Single & Social Awareness Music Video.
